AWC transplants (one year as seedling + one year as a transplant) from replicated experiment to evaluate the effects of shade, incorporated peat, and initial seedling grade on growth of AWC transplants. One-year old seedlings were graded by size, and grown for one season in outdoor beds. Pictured is Eric Hinesley (N. C. State University).
