AWC with Containers flooded

AWC seedlings grown at 26 degrees C (78 degrees F) and subjected to various levels offlooding in 8-in pots containing a composted pine bark substrate. Water table levels were maintained in the pots as follows: control = well drained, 1/3 = one-third full, 2/3 = two-thirds full, and 3/3 = full. Plants were briefly fertilized (2-3 hours) once weekly with a complete nutrient solution; then, flushed out, and reflooded. Scale division = 5 cm.
